Our primary business is 20ft or 40ft shipping containers, which are the most common sizes used for international shipping. Both sizes are available in new and used condition.

New containers: In the container logistics industry, these are also known as “one-trips.” That’s because they’ve transported a single load of cargo across the ocean after being manufactured.

Used containers: Have been retired from international shipping after an average of 15-20 years at sea (sometimes longer). They’re guaranteed to be wind and watertight, with doors that seal properly and floors that are intact.

An empty 20ft container weighs around 5,000 lbs and has a loading capacity of 62,000 lbs. An empty 40ft container weighs around 8,200 lbs and has a loading capacity of 63,000 lbs.

What can’t you fit in a shipping container? 20ft containers have an internal capacity of 1,172 ft³. That’s the equivalent of 200 standard mattresses, two compact cars, or 9,600 wine bottles. 40ft containers have double the internal capacity (2,385 ft³). That’s the equivalent of 400 standard mattresses, four compact cars, or 19,200 wine bottles.

Shipping containers are made from COR-TEN steel, also known as weathering steel — a highly durable material used extensively in the transportation and storage industries. A shipping container’s weathering steel is resistant to corrosion — a necessity for enduring decades of navigating harsh sea environments.

Shipping containers also have corrugated steel sides, steel framing, and 1 1/8'' thick marine plywood floors, providing years of durability and security.

An ISO container is a standardized reusable steel box used for the safe, efficient and secure storage. It also makes it easy to move materials and products within a global containerized intermodal freight transport system.

Because of insurance liability restrictions it is not possible to walk around the depot facility location. Containers are stacked 5 & 6 high therefore, we cannot obtain photos or guarantee a specific unit. The depot facilities are storing empty shipping containers for shipping lines and intermodal equipment providers. When we place an order for our customers, they get the next container off the stack that meets their criteria.

Once you decide the size of the container and if you need delivery, we will email you an invoice to purchase with the following provided information: Name/Company Name, Billing & Delivery Address, Email Address and how to position the container on the delivery truck (container doors sliding off back of truck and hitting ground first or last). Upon receipt of your payment, either delivery will be scheduled or we will provide you with pick up/release information which is the depot facility address & pick up number.

Once we receive payment on your invoice to purchase a container and agree on a delivery date. The truck driver will call the contact you provided us once the container is loaded on the truck to advise he is on his way to your location.
